Have you read Your Money Or Your Life? The author says when you're not working to live, you're "making a dying" instead of making a living. That really struck us. Good for you two! Hope to see you soon in bella Italia.

Fantastic. Many items on your list could be on mine. I also played sax and piano and wish I could still play now.

Excellent work! We have a lot in common, it seems, but I just have to say that the "older woman, younger man" thing runs in both my and P's family--and wouldn't you know it, I'm 2 years older than P?

Oh, and I love that you thought curse words were invented in the mid-80s; I remember having similar thoughts regarding certain words that I was *sure* someone or another (that I knew) made up ;)
